love to see some historical pictures, in fact if I was a potential buyer I would demand them, and bullet proof documentation and signed affidavates from drivers and factory and restoration videos etc. etc. etc. I mean its only $600k

I'd sell the house, but the the wife would get half the car in the divorce. And what use is an ST cut in half!?!

I know this car. Its the real deal. It has some interesting factory double skinning on the front inner wings.

That's one beautiful car.
beautiful ST, thnx for these nice pics !!
Talking ST : I recently dug into some old excellence magazines I have on my bookshelf and found an article on a 1970 st that won imsa in 1972 with gregg and haywood. The article was in excellence of august 1999.
In the article there is "reasonable doubt" about the authenticity of the st that has been found in mexico in the early 90-ies and has been restored as this particular brumos daytona 1972 winner.
The pics I include here are 2 of only 7 pics I found about this car and the one in 1973 colors is the only picture I found on the net from the car after restoration.
The car in red is how it was raced in 1972, the white car is the restored car in the brumos colors as it was raced in 1973.
Does any-one here know more about this cars (hi)story ??
The article made me curious and not finding any more information, made me even more curious :-)
thnx
K.
PS: Chuck : I think some of the black and white pics I found were posted by you here in another thread.......thnx !!
Did I read right at 300,000 GBP? That is close to 600,000USD. Wow, it's nice an all but that's an amazing price.
