    ally deck lid with re-wiper?

    Hi,

Can anyone send me a pic or can 100% confirm that early S ally engine lids also came with a rear wiper as an option.

    Thanks in advance

    Alan

    Definitely

    Alan....

Here are a couple of pictures of an original (original paint) aluminum engine lid from a 2.2 911S that I have with the rear wiper assembly attached.

    Cheers,

I need to hang onto it. My son and I plan on restoring his '71 S S/R this winter and his CoA lists a rear wiper.

Alan - if you're interested I have an 'as new' rear wiper assembly (minus actual wiper arrm) which came from a RHD 2.7RS with Factory-optioned (ducktail-delete) aluminium engine lid.

The aluminium engine lid complete with badges (but without the rear wiper set-up) weighs approx 4 1/2 lbs.
