    Fuchs 15 X 7 and 8 inch set - reconditioned

    SOLD

For Sale: Porsche 911 Carrera RS Wheels Fuchs 15 by 7 And 8 Inch Set!!!

    $2000.00

This is an Original set of Porsche 911 Fuchs Forged Alloy Wheels. They are a complete original set of 15 inch by 7’s and 8’s. These wheels are in mint condition and they have never been damaged or welded. They were just reconditioned from Al Reed in Anaheim, CA. I had a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS replica that I just sold, and I was planning to put these wheels on the car. These wheels were reconditioned to look like the factory Carrera RS wheels of this vintage, as noted by the satin like finish. These wheels are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND WORTH $3500 FOR THE SET. However, I sold the car as is and I don’t need these wheels anymore, so you are in luck! These wheels are like brand new and they are getting extremely rare. They were just reconditioned, and Al Reed anodized and repainted them in Black, in the Carrera RS and RSR finish. These wheels are not the shiny polished Fuchs, so please note this distinction. This finish is specific to the Carrera RS and RSR, so whether you have an orginal or replica, you will need these wheels to be time period correct. Hi Mike,

On the 8's the date stamps are 1384 and 1584.

I'm not sure about the date code for the 7's, but the part number is 911.361.020 and underneath the part number indicates AS1062. These number are the same for the 7's and 8's, and the 7's have an additional number underneath that is 028139.3

Hope this helps and thanks for your interest, but the wheels are sold.

Sorry for asking in this tread but what do the date stamps mean? Are these wheels from week 13 and 15 in 1984? Did they still make wheels for the RS then? The reason I ask is that I have a set of the same wheels but 4 7's.

Hi John, yes you are correct about reading the date codes. These are not real RS wheels, rather a set reconditioned in the same RS/RSR finish to look like the real RS wheels. Thanks for your interest and good luck! -Paul
