    Is this the same car...

that showed up outside at the German AutoFest this year? Afterall, Palmdale's only marginally closer to Ventura than I am...

    THAT car needed...well, everything
Evidently the owners made it even worse when they (apparently) failed to properly tie the car down to the trailer...the whole rear section had major structural issues (torn fiberglass everywhere) as a result...

Clearly the same car. You can see the primered repair on one side in one of the Ebay shots. No pics on Ebay showing the rear for obvious reasons, the plexiglass window got some good cracks and scratches too. But that thing was a complete roach even before the back flip.

What a great looking roach though .....

Maybe a more sensible alternative here:

..... although I'm not sure for what?

nice to see another dishonest ebay seller.

seller claims fg repair due to cracks from age. nice.

i think whenever anything is advertised with the phrase 'people tell me....' one should stay far away. 'people tell me a finished version would be $150,000', 'people tell me a real one would be $650,000', 'people tell me i look good in gold chains with my shirt open to my belly and 2 gallons of colone spilled all over me as i drive by in my '83 vette with ultra-fast louvered tail light covers...'

not to mention fiberglass quality is soooooooo dependent on the person doing the laying (or shooting) it's tough knowing what you're buying.

Does anybody know who the guy in the pictures is?

He "may" be involved in a fairly elaborate internet scam and he's targeting Porsche vendors. I lost out on a serious set of control arms loaded with Elephant goodies.

He's rumored to have a grey 914 with riveted or bolted on GT flares as well. In the Victorville area?

Any help or information would be appreciated.

This person may be trying to hide his "other" identities. eBay may have been alerted. His PayPal account has been shut down. PayPal being eBay I would assume that is what happened.

We really need to know who this person is. He looks an aweful lot like "Stromberg". More Porsche vendors have come forward today... this "may" be the person ripping them off. This is too small of a community. I like doing business on a handshake and a guys word. I "hate" people who rip other people off.

If anybody out there has any information please contact me.
