WTF was that?! It looks as if that were filmed relatively recently. I guess it was back when you could buy one for just a few thousand $$. They should have used a mid-year 911, not an early car! Sickening since that looked like it could have been a decent example.
Oh yeah, Top Gear aired this a number of years ago. Jeremy is a bit fo a wanker, well known for his porsche hatred. He is coming around though evidenced by the fact he gushed over the GT3 and Carrera GT. This vid is a bit tongue in cheek, but actually pays a nice complement to the early 911. I think the story is that the car was a rusty 'T' POS anyway.

You will also notice that when it was dropped from the crane, the engine and tranny were already removed.

It hurts me deep inside to see someone destroy (on purpose, at least) any 911. If you notice though, in the last scene when dropping it from the crane the car is missing it's engine/tranny as well as the gas tank. At least they had the good sense to remove the drivetrain...Originally Posted by t6dpilot

Yeah, it's been around. Painful to watch...
I remember watching this for the first time and thinking "what a waste"
If the plate is anything to go by she was a 1981 on an 'X' index - so probably back dated - although the silver dash is confusing.

old car as well. Not a T though. I know 911T cars. As PMJT stated, the car looks to have been back dated.
The very first part of the video (from the interior) shows the window trim as black. Very few early car owners would have performed that update.
Good thing it was not some old rusty T POS. That would have been a real tragedy.
