    Correcting My Coil

I am about to correct the appearance of my coil, which is now silver with the wrong decals applied. I know it should be black and have the proper decals but would like to see a photograph, if somebody has a good one, of how this should appear when finished. Also, what paint sheen is correct?

Here is a photo of how it looks now.....

    Coil

Not the cleanest example, but I took this shot of my old coil while Tony Gerace (TLG) is doing my motor to have an example on file. Even the best examples appear to be a matte or near-matte finish. Hope it helps.

    Stickers

Is there a source for the proper stickers? I wanted to repaint mine but could not find the proper stickers.

    Thanks,

    Try Ake at this link:

I believe many of his stickers are repros, but they look quite good.

I got my engineering stickers from Roger Grago (see this thread) - http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ght=coil+decal and they look great. He sent two of the "Vorsicht!" ones, one of which I believe goes on the cd box. Can anyone show me very specifically how that one should be positioned?

Proceeding with this project tomorrow afternoon. Help is needed quickly! Thanks.

Too bad I am away from my car....luckily ebay has come to the rescue!!!
I belive the placement is close to correct. I thought it should be just a bit lower on the box though....Hmm, my memory is fuzzy.
