One of the finest “T/R” replicas ever made is offered below. It was built by my personal Porsche mechanic David Loop of Loop European in Monterey, CA. I have owned one of his cars and never had a better “R Gruppe” type of car. He is totally aware of how to put everything together that offers comfort, speed and reliability. yes, very nice! I guess if you want a "new" early 911 this is what it would be... not sure what the value would be. What would this be worth compared to an excellent condition and original (as possible) early 911S. Tough to compare though... still this is a beautiful car!

These clones or replicas, whatever you want to call them are valued just like any other item for sale. That is based on what someone is willing to pay for and what it would cost to replicate. That is a beautiful car and would not be cheap to build.

    It REALLY is THAT NICE

I first saw the car at The Gathering at The Quail, during Pebble Beach Week.
Frank displayed it in Rallye trim, EVERYONE who walked by it, was drawn to it.
(Remember, The Gathering is now THE place to display your car, ONLY THE BEST.)

The next time was when Frank brought it to GAF. I was lucky enough to drive it for a few miles around the Fairgrounds, and the surface streets. The car drive as nice as it looks. NO rattles, tight feeling in the shifting, steering, acceleration, braking. The whole checklist you do in your head as you drive a car, looking for something to notice wrong. Well, there is NOTHING anyone will find.

It really is that nice. If you are seriously in the market to buy, this is the one.

Here is a photo I scanned from the back cover of the Spring 2006 issue of
    The Esses.

Yeah, I took that pic at the Quail... and this one as well...

If you're looking for an Early 911 Hot Rod with ALL the right stuff, this is one of the best 'no excuse' cars I've ever seen....

BTW - I've been trying to talk Frank out of selling it for over a month...

    Cheers,
