any thoughts on the car? Is the headliner really original?

Not if the sunvisors are original. I like the all black interior though. If it were mine, it would have a nice black Prototipo on it in a heartbeat...

i believe that car is owned by board member TeeScott.

It has been noted that the black headliner was optional starting in 73. I wouldn't let that hold me back on it though 70E in that color...OOOFTAH!

Is there a 356 option code for it? I'm not familiar with 356s for the most part.

Here is the thread I was referring to.

Looking back, teescott mentioned this very same car with black headliner with the caveat that the window rubber had been replaced. Could explain the standard white/black visors still in place.

I agree. Special wishes could have done it.

I have a 68S that appears to be pretty original, except for a re-paint some years ago. It has a rear window wiper , outside temp gauge; and a Black brownish headliner , in sort of a fuzzy material.which, looks original. Maybe it's not.

Wowsers...that's a very nice looking resto. I'd get that bad boy on the streets doing it's thing asap if I had the $$$. Will be interesting to see what that level of restoration will bring in the end.
