    Porsche Option Codes - HELP!

I have a '69 T that the ladies at Porsche cannot identify some of the option codes. My chassis number is 119100028. The codes with unknown meaning are 9921,9076, and 9047.

They won't show them on the Cardex if I cannot prove to them what they are. How can they know the codes, but not know what they mean?

Thank you in advance for any, and all, help or direction.

    Porsche Option Codes - HELP!

According to my 1969 Factory Accessories list (Revision1, dated 1/1/69), 9076 was the 911T 'Comfort Group' option.
    It includes:
    "14 x 5 1/2 alloy wheels
    911S Instrumentation
    Leather Steering Wheel
Rubber Tipped Bumperettes, front and rear
911S Rubber Mouldings on front and rear and both sides
    Ventilated Disc Brakes
    Chromed Rocker Panels
    500-Cycle horn
    Aluminum Door Sills
    Gold Lettering Porsche Name Plates
    Self-Levelling Hydraulic Front Suspension
    Full Velouran Carpeting"

    I can't find any mention of 9921 and 9047

    Hope this helps

    porsche codes

The code I really want to know is the #9921.

Before driving off in the car after I purchased it, the original owner told me the car came w/ a orange leather interior to match the blood orange exterior. I said " you mean red". He instisted it was orange and that his father had dyed it black many years prior. The car has incorrect year sport seats, and I have recently purchased correct '69 sport seats. I want to have the interior done in this orange leather if that is what's original.

I anyone could please shed some light on this interior code number. Maybe even a guess.

Chris do you know if this comfort group option carries on to the 73 year?

Sorry about the slow response, Mike. I only just noticed your question!!

I only have the accessories book for 1969, so don't know if the 'Comfort Group' option carried on to 1973. I think that by then all 911s had 6x15 wheels as standard, though 5.5x15s were still available.

No doubt someone else can answer your question better than I though.

    Cheers

I suspect 9921 probably is red, but am having a problem understanding the 99xx interior codes compared to the 98xx series.
9047 seems to be US equipment.
Perhaps PCNA has better information now.

As a package, I dont think so, it was by then individual choice.
Also, chromed bumperettes and gold plated Porsche was gone for MY73 US spec's.
Up to MY 71, it was listed in the accessories folder list.

Now, is this correct or not? I don't know...Thanks.

"INTERIOR - While the interior was already restored in the 90's, it was dyed black from the original orange. I had GAHH in LA use a color matched orange leather to professionally redo the Recaro sport seats and side panels - this is per code # 9921 on the COA from the factory. The cost to do this was over $7,000.00, but it was worth it. The interior is just fantastic. You could copy it, but it wouldn't be factory as on this car. "S" gauges and original factory leather steering wheel. "

    John,

It's nice that all of these people took the time to give you the information you needed. It would be nice if you were willing to that for someone instead of blowing them off for 10 months.
