Definitely a 901 series Porsche oil tank, possibly a very early econo 911 without an oil level guage? Another guess would be a 912, but I don't recall any 912 motors being dry sumped.

Just a thought.......A number of years ago Stoddard was selling their reproduction oil tank at incredible savings ( under $400) - and yup you guessed it - no oil level provision. According to the rep at the time, when I bought one of the last ones, most people still preferred the tank with the guage, even though the price was dramatically more.
