    SPark Plug & Coil Question

My 1971 911E seems to be fouling the plugs. I did adjust the carbs (it runs Webers) and it seemed to idle and run better, but it fouled a plug again today. It is currently running the regular Bosch W3DPO plugs and the standard coil. It does have a Perma Tune CD installed.
I'm wondering if I should use a "hotter" plug and upgrade the coil. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I would be using a hotter plug probably a Bosch W5 range, an NGK or Beru equivalent would also be good options. The standard ignition system works well if its in good condition and working correctly, so check out the ignition and if its good leave it.
Make sure your butterflies are all closing and working evenly, a twisted shaft can make plugs foul.
The other thing to check out is make sure your float levels are correct and the needle and seats are sealing properly as at times, they can have a bit of a dribble causing plugs to foul
