This stated Euro S has white faced Gauges??? Mine are green like all the other 67's. Interesting to see what this might sell for. I wonder if it had any race history, it does have rear flares.
Whoever buys it better be ready to spend more then what the market is for a current driveable 67S. I hope it runs the full auction course to see what buyers think this shell/core is worth.
Although I really don't know what the current market price on one would be. You see some sell really high "$30k to $40k", and some listed for sale that don't meet reserve at lower prices in the mid to low $20's.

I ran the VIN through www.early911s.com and it didn't come back as a 67S. Is that usual?
I thought the VIN #s were insignificant except for the S at the end. Other than that, aren't they just production-related?

I think you made an error, I ran it through and it came back as a 67S.Originally Posted by Porsche
The only anomoly is the gauges, everything else speaks that its a 67S, including the numbers stamped in the trunk, the ID plate by the front trunk latch, and the ID plate that's on the driver's door hinge post. There's other clues as well, the material on the face of the dash, and I can see the passenger side door panel is correct for the 67S, and wasn't used on the 67 regular 911. It also has vented front and rear discs which the standard 911 in 1967 didn't have, but was standard on the "S" in 67.
