    67S on ebay

Yeah, I saw that too. Wow is a gross understatement! Schwingggg!

To me the 67S is the most beautiful of the early S's, I really love those green dials.

Truly a really, really nice example!

What is the color? Looks like something between pale yellow and light ivory.
Henry, I agree with you about the 67S being the prettiest of the S's. I like the 66 911 even better because of the wood instrument panel, but the 66 year was pre-S.

Ditto all sentiments. I wonder if it has the original engine case? It says it has a 2.2, but upgrading to 84mm P/Cs is a drop in upgrade. As far as the '67S goes, I foresee myself one day completing my '69S and selling so I can buy a '67S. It is my fave.

Looked at it today. The color I believe is Champagne Yellow, and is very well done. The case is original as well (No documentation per that), just has 84mm cylinder's.

    Bill,
Any rough idea on what he wants for the car? Not that I need another one, but you never know!

I really don't Eric. He never mentioned any "numbers" and seems inclined to let the auction run it's course.

I really dig it though, totally sorted and no stories.

Sounds like if a $45K bid took it, it would be a deal.
