OK guys FedEx just dropped the new shoes for my street car. More pics to follow in the coming weeks when I get them installed.

very nice! are they just a "normal" street tire or do they have a special quality to them, a bit like ra1 compound etc?

Street tire of modern construction but classic looks. Strictly for the street in my eyes. I use Toyo RA1's on the track.

Hey Juan, can't wait to see them on the car. Did you get them straight from Verdestein or another source?

    Vredestein's

Juan, was the production date on the tires recent. I'm thinking of a set, but have heard concerns about stale production dates?

    Thanks - they look great.

    I have the same !

Did already 5000miles on them (mostly alps/mountains, less higways, no track/racing).
In my opinion good classic tyres for normal street use and good period look too.

    Got them here: http://www.universaltire.com/cart.ph...ategory_id=340

How can I tell the production date? Let me know and I'll check right away (they are behind my desk, not everyone in the office is enjoying the new tire smell...)

These tires stick better than they have any right to.

Here are mine. I had a problem with "stale" tires too and sent them back and had them find the newest set in the warehouse

For some reason I can't upload my photo? It use to work?
