Period badges and decals for 911

Period badges and decals can look great on a 911.

But they can also upset the overall look, and end up "looking completely wrong"....

What do you think? and what are the best ones available?

For now, I opted for just a few which I particularly like...

But I'm still searching for my all time favorite:

These may be a little new for most of you but these are on my 911:

From what I've heard the 'ring outline is only appropriate if you've driven it.

    Hi Milou..

The swiss one is funny because back in 74 there was no convertible
available on the market, but in my opinion its design is to baroque to be on
    a pre1973 car..the 73Monterey one just looks great, tough !

    must be period....

You are right I will change the 84 badge once I find the monterey one.
I think the Nurburing ring looks just right next to the licence plate, but the badge looks older than the car and more for a 356 or 550 no?

    Milou,

You're right about the age but there is no contest when it comes to design:

    40 years RUF

The 100000km badge also dates from the 356 period, when people were proud to show off high mileage (no longer the case by the time the sc was produced). I do like the design of the ruf sticker, beautiful.

Badges to me are a purely personal decision, much like stripes, steering wheels (unless track related), new colour schemes, driving fog / lights, radio delete, the list goes on and on.

    Up to you
