Thread: 2.4S MFI value?

    2.4S MFI value?

I bought a 2.4 T engine last week as a potential winter project and was kind of suprised to find out that it has been upgraded to a 2.7 and has 2.4S throttle bodies and plastic stacks (look to have been recently rebuilt and are free from cracks or other damage) .

What would a fair price be for these? Normally, I would go the eBay route, but there is a fellow member looking at them and we are lookign to establish a fair price.

As a side note, the MFI pump is a later aluminum version but instead of an ID tag it is stamped "2.7". I suspect this is a 2.4T pump, but was wondering if any of you know a rebuilder that stamps the new spec instead of leaving the plate on?

    Thanks,
    Andrew M

Hi Raynald - yes, I was pretty lucky to find some good parts on the engine. How is your rebuild going? My 2.6 is done and in the car - now I'm looking at the MFI system in the garage and getting crazy ideas!
