    It's interesting to note that the website comments on the Shadow include this bullet: Parnelli Jones tests Shadow at Orange County Raceway, writes to Don Nichols: "This car is great."
    Yet in the recent Pano article on George Follmer, it was said that the "radical 'roller skate' AVS Shadow" was "a car which quickly proved nearly undriveable."

    Tom - I noticed that too! Vic Elford drove it too and made similar comments regarding its un-driveabliity. I read some comments from the current owner of the car who is running it in vintage events and he said he is very slowly getting up to speed with it. He says the brakes are horrible.

    I love that photo of Harris riding on Al Unser Jr.'s car too entitled "Organic Datalogger"
