    WTB: Deep Sixes dated 10/69

I have 3 10/69 Deep Sixes so I need 1 or 2 more. I have an 8/69 to trade if a trade helps. They will go to Al Reed, so minor cosmetic problems are not important. They just need to be un-bent. You can call me at 805-474-8300 or email me at "robertheyne@charter.net".

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Rob,

What condition is your 8/69? I'll have to double check but, I think one or two of mine might be 10/69s. It rings a bell. Where you located?

    Michael,

My 8/69 is at Al Reed's for refinishing. I have not seen it as it was shipped directly to Al. It is not bent and is suitable for restoration. I'm on the Central Coast of California near San Luis Obispo.(Arroyo Grande to be exact). I'd be interested in an outright purchase of 1 or 2 10/69's if you prefer.

Well, I don't have any extra to sell. I was trying to see if I could help ya with a trade on the date codes. Problem is not being able to see the wheel. Any idea at all on the condition? Previously chromed or polished or heavily pitted? Original condition etc? Mine are in very good original condition which is what I'd want to end up with as well if I traded. Course I still have to go out and dig em outta da shed to check dem date codes. I could be blowin smoke knowing my sometimes lowsy short term memory.

Did I mention I live just down the coast of Santa Cruz?

Thanx for the offer of help. I'll ask Al about the condition the next time I'm able to reach him.

Well I was half right. I do have two 10/69s. However they are my 7Rs and not my sixes. Sorry that I couldn't help you out. If I hear of any I'll let you know.

    Ciao,
    Michael
