I have a 1965 coupe I'm thinking of selling - very nice condition - new carpets, paint & interior (kardex correct) & matching numbers eng, trans, orignal radio. Slate grey / black leatherette.
Since you have the collection - can you give me any ideas on ball park pricing please?
Much appreciated,
Gary

Nope. Looking for an original, good condition 68 "S". Basket case "L's" aren't my bag baby (Austin Powers). Thanks for the link.

"1968 Porsche 911 S Matching numbers car
This auction is for the most difficult to find early 911S - only 1267 were built in 1968 and none of them were imported to the US which makes this car extremely rare and desirable among early Posche enthusiasts.
This gorgeous example has had a recent professional restoration by BMC Classics,Inc. www.dreamsonwheels.com - and comes with Kardex certificate, tools and owner's manual. Finished in the origial color of polo red. The car retains the correct original trim, brightwork and Fuchs alloy wheels. The mostly original but restored interior not only features all interior pieces which are special to the 68S but also a flawless dash top, great working gauges, a new headliner and sun visors, all new rubber gaskets, new German square weave carpet, great vintageWeber 40 IDS Recaro sport seats and fully restored authentic 1968 Breitling stop watches.
The strong running rebuild 911S engine (engine # 4080659, Type 901/02) is equipped with the corect Weber 40IDS carburetors. The correct 901 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly."

Yes I know . You are looking for an original paint 40.000 miles car under 10.000 US$. Best with an engine rebuild. Nothing wrong with the car from Heiner!!
If you saw the quality of Scott's early 911S collection, you would find yourself apologizing for your quote.Originally Posted by mvp
