    Wtb 1973/1973.5

    Hello all.

I'm looking for a cherry 1973S or 1973.5T. Must be silver, Fuchs, working AC. Car must be in Great condition, "no rust" no interior or exterior damage, GREAT paint reconditioned engine/trans a plus. 30k is my top dollar if the car is "RIGHT" I'm in So. Cal. so a local car would also be a +

    thanks in advance
    Larry

At that price, forget about an S. There was a nice CIS T floating around that fits your description I believe.
    Cheers,

Here you go. Read the description of the first car listed. It is above your stated price range but sounds like a very special 911.

Ive got a 73E, silver, at the restoration shop right now, less than 1000 miles on engine rebuild. I found the engine builder finally, after much searching, he is trying to locate the build sheet and invoices. He has taken care of the car since 1980. Robert Schipinski, in Indy. Complete bare metal, fenders off, glass out, should be done in a month or so, looking to get mid to high 20's. Ive got pictures of the body stripped of paint if anyone is interested. No sun roof. Here is the original link. http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ad.php?t=12410 Thanks-Bill

Thanks for the information, I have located a 1973.5 in No. Calif. It's being restored as we speak. Complete new paint job (everything will be covered)
rebuilt engine/transaxle, all new rubber parts, new carpet, headliner, working AC etc etc

I hope it's not from FastClassics (AKA Born2BFast). If so, tread carefully.

And "they" laughed at me when G&W was selling a fully documented low mile 73.5 for $19K.
Now one of our own has it. I've never seen one that was any better for the money.

    Daron:

And, you would be correct! One of the BEST documented early 911s I know of and it's not in bad shape either.

    Best regards,
