Front License Plate Bracket Holder Thing?

I thought I saw a front license plate bracket that fits on the front of a '67-71 911 bumper. Two pieces, each shaped like a triangle. The sloped portion of the triangle fits against the curved lower bumper. Once attached, the vertical portion is what you screw the license plate into. Did I imagine this? Or has anyone else had the same delusion? Thanks.

    Sandy,

I posted a thread here about the bracket you are referring to.

    Unfortunately it involves drilling.
By law in Germany it is required that all cars have front and rear license plates. The plates must be at least 30 cm above the ground.
I had been thinking about what I could make that did not involve drilling, but there is no way around it. So I custom made a holder yesterday out of two 1/8 inch thick strips of aluminum 3 inches long. They curl at the top. They flex slightly so that at high speeds the plate will sit flush against the fron spoiler, but at lower speeds remains vertical.

Same law in California. But I've got no problem drilling. Plus, I think it's very cool.
