    FS: 911S engine & 901 gearbox

FS: Got a rod knock on my 2.2 911S motor at Road Atlanta, replaced it with a 3.6 993 Varioram motor, so all the old stuff is for sale out of my 71 911T RS Clone. Engine ran very well, still does, except for the knock that you can hear if you touch the gas! Doesn't knock at idle! Engine was shut down immediately the knock began, and was towed off track. Engine has almost new Carrera chain tensioners, was recently dyno'd at 180HP and good compression. Has Stainless SSI's and dual out sport muffler (Bischoff 901.011.08 / 470), plus original single out. Has complete MFI and MSD ignition/coil. Engine number is 6301116, also have matching 901 gearbox and axles. Gearbox ran fine, with no unusual noises or grinding. Magnecor plug wires, billet sump cover, Turbo lower valve covers. Will split engine/gearbox.
Open to serious offers. Email me for more info or if you want any pictures. jonathanfoulds@yahoo.com.
