    72 T 2.4 MFI Motor Value/Interest

I'm looking to do a motor swap on my 72T. It currently has the original 2.4 MFI motor in it. The motor had a high end rebuild about 30k miles ago by a respected builder. I'd have to dig up the receipts but I do have them.

It runs great and checked out fine a couple of thousand miles ago when I bought the car. I just want more power.

Wondering what the value is and if anyone is interested. I'd be looking to sell it complete with the MFI.
    Cheers,

    Steve

    Steve,
I have no interest in it, but I would value it at around $2,500, maybe a little more if it looks clean, and comes with a nice exhaust system, maybe less if it is lacking in cosmetics.
If it were me, I would have a leakdown and compression test doen on it before pulling it. If the results are favorable, it will definitely make it easier to sell.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Seems like not really worth a lot of money, particularly given I payed $1200 for a complete T/E MFI setup a couple of months back.
    Cheers,
