    WTB 67-68 S head

Anybody got a spare they are willing to part with? I need to fill in a set of 5.

    42/38 valves with 36/35 ports.

I won't quibble if there are two .

You missed a complete set that were on German EBay last week. I thought about bidding but I don't have an engine to put them in

P.S. The seller had them advertised as the hard to find 69S heads with MFI plug holes, but they were 68's based on the measurements of the valve sizes he gave me.
If someone bought them thinking they were getting the bigger 69S valves, they might end up being re-listed....

    Tadd,
I have held a number of 67-68S in my hands, and I have found that most of them do not have the 36/35 port sizes as stated in the spec books. They are more like 35/34. Valve sizes were always 42/38 though....

    Gruen911:
The S ports may not be perfect, but it is a far cry from having to cut out 32 mm T ports to get to 38! It's all the same in the end as the bowl of the valve seems to be the same size so the port really 'blends' itself for the most part, but it is a few less passes with the boring bar using the S parts over the T parts. There is also less material to deal with around the valve guides aswell.

    Still looking... anyone?

I will have a look tomorrow
If I understand well the valves need to be 42/38 and ports need to be 36/35
If I still have some (I sold 8 (67-68) and 6 (69)some weeks ago), are you interested in shipment from Belgium?

Air shipping from the EU for small tiems (like a head) is surprisingly affordable. OliveR shipped me six cylinders from France and the shipping wasn't too crazy. Tadd, go for it.

I did a search in my old boxes but I did not find any 68S heads.
This will not help you but I did find 69S heads but only 4 of them.

    Sorry.
