    Dave must have owned this car prior to the 1980's when his TV career started to take off. With the millions he has earned over the past 25 years, I doubt very much that this was the car he was driving around Hollywood in....
    Unless he was trying to convince Uncle Sam that he was broke

    I'm just glad he didn't say "hey, you can use my car as KITT".
    This early car stuff would have all been very different... bowing our heads in shame as passersby laughed "hey LOOK it's one of those Knight Rider cars".

    Yes looking at the registration. It seems like it is 1978 and he had to have it financed.

    So it must be before he could buy a new one with CASH.

    I bet the seller thinks he has a gold mine. Now if it was one of the Baywatch babes car thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
