    FS: 911 Speedometer

    Guys,
This MPH speedo came off of my 73T when switching over to a KPH speedo for Europe. It is concourse quality and works flawlessly. No needle bounce whatsoever, and no disappointments. Asking $150.00 + shipping.

    Ron, I will guarantee it.
It was literally just pulled out of my car two weeks ago, and I was reluctant to take it out because it looks and functions flawlessly.
I posted this stuff here first because it is good. I would prefer that someone here get it before I sold it to some stranger on EBay.

    I am in Munich Germany.
I will charge you $12 shipping and pay the difference out of my own pocket.
The only downside for you will be a 1-2 week wait to get the speedo.
Deutsche Post is very reliable and has good tracking (they also don't shoot their fellow employees when they come to work with an attitude .

    Hi Andy,
I thought it was for a 69-73 911, but I am not sure now. I will look for a date stamp tomorrow morning. I am more of a 64-67 specialist with 911 gauges.

It would make sense if this is the 74 and up unit since your car is a 73.5. But won't you need this when you return to the U.S.A.

The thought crossed my mind Rick. Most likely I will needing a pre-68 speedo though if/when I move back
Okay, so I have looked the back of this speedo over a few times, and there are no embossed numbers stamped into the back or side. There is a sticker on it with the 120 026/033/001. There is also a green triangular ink stamp on the back with two rows of four numbers each, but they are smeared and are hard to read. The top numbers are 14--, and the four numbers below that are 12--. Your guess is as good as mine?
However, one other thing I just noticed when looking at the speedo more is that the center circle upon which the speedo needle is mounted is black on the one I have. Whereas on the earlier year models it is chrome. So it looks like Rick could be right. This speedo is correct for a 74' or later year car. Does anyone know if Rick is right about the 73.5 T's using 74 model year parts (like the CIS). Maybe this is correct for a 73.5 car? My car was built midyear 73. Wouldn't Porsche have started production of the 74 cars after August of 73'?
