The new crack cocaine for early 911 enthusiasts

Okay, I had a set of these that I bought two years ago for $500 which were in very good condition. I can only look on with amazement what has happened with the pricing of these things in the past 1 1/2 years. These things are now hitting recaro sport seat territory in pricing.

Congrat's to Rick Cabell for a nice sale!

Much harder to find in my experience as Marchal lamps as compared to Cibie. Still...

    Wink what's the next durg?

Ok, Recaros and Cibies have gone through the roof because they hit that sensitive "so classic porsche" cord, any guess on what may be the next big thing?

Aluminium engine lids, 4.5in. Fuchs, Heuer stopwatches, wooden steering wheel with butterfly horn, Blaukpunt or Becker radios, cut horn grilles with the 118 Hellas?

There has got to more to the story than the auction is saying.........good sale, but it make no sense that the bid would jump from 912.00 to almost double that with no inbetween bids?

Bidder 1 bid a high amount early on but it didn't show until Bidders 7 & 8 took it even higher!

    ezsnipe.com

It looks like Bidder 8 may have used ezsnipe.com to place his bid. It's a great tool for on line auctions.
