    911 Rs 74

    Looking for a nice 911 RS model 1974.

    Dave,
    I had a 72 S that was Raseberry Rose. Did you get yours out of Atlanta. Flax six (Aarron) had one in his shop a while back for sale.

    Yes, it came from Atlanta, A friend of mine that lives in Wisconsin recomend it to me. I receive some pictures and buy it.

    I saw a yellow 74 911 coupe a few months ago, which had a rebuilt 73 911S motor which had been upgraded to RS specs incl MFI with less than 50k miles. Body was flawless, and paint was 9 out of 10. It went for only $14k on EBay. Someone on this board talked me out of bidding more for it. I should have kept going....

    First I want to apologize for not been so clear in what I am looking for.
    I right RS 74 because a nice friend that I have just buy a euro Carrera 2.7. I donīt have the ' ducktail ' and it have a decal that say RS.
    Last night reading the book Original Porsche 911 by Peter Morgan
    find the model I am interest.

    What I really looking for is for a 1974 Carrera Euro model
    210@6300 hp.
    255@5100 torque
    8.5:1 compression ratio
    1075 kg
    1036 number built.

    Do I need to make a new post and forget the first one I right looking for a 911 Rs 74? Or can I continue surching here?

    David,

    That is great choice. The Carrera 2.7 is a very fun car to drive and own. Where are you located? I have a good friend in Germany who owns a nice '74 Carrera 2.7 and has found several other nice ones. I would be glad to pass along his email address if you would like to contact him.
