    Places/Things To Do

Would you fellas mind posting in this thread names of places to stay along the coast, great places to eat, Porsche shops and parts stores, things to visit, places to be along with addresses, websites and phone numbers? This might be a thread of great value to visitors to the left coast besides myself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to be more specific as to where you'll be. Northern, Southern or Central California?

Flying into and leaving from LAX Dec 19-26. Planning on travelling San Diego to Monterey along the Pacific coastline. Not worried about costs too much (uh, won't be eating at Mickey D's or staying in any dumps). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Really hoping to run into a bunch of you fellas along the way and will be at Crystal Cove II on Sat. Eade, I'd love to stop by and check out all those fabulous toys you got stashed away. I got a big P-car craving to satisfy...hehe.

I'd say check out the Hearst Castle website. They have a link to "friends of Hearst Castle" which will give you a bunch of good places to eat/stay on the central coast. Paso Robles has a ton of good driving roads, and that's on your way to Monterey.

Also, you should check out the Petersen Automotive Museum while you're in LA if you have a chance. They have some pretty cool static exhibits, and their rotating exhibits on the second floor are always worth a look.

I think the LA Auto Show might be going on right now as well, so you might think about looking in that, too.
