    A money maker?

    Now there is a NLA part that could be made very easly! We know that the top skin is available from the glass shops. I'am sure that since there is a company making after market steel deck lids. I think somebody could get the repop manufactuer to stamp some reinforcements. Then bond the two together. They would most likely fit and adjust alot better than the all glass ones that are out right know. And since a real deal will usally bring in about $1000.00. There is enough profit margin to work with. Hmmmmm. At the moment I have enough pokers in the fire, but. Just a thought! I have had this one before.

    The way I see it if XXXXX XXXXX in XXXXXXX can go to all the trouble to knock out repro 356 shine-down lights complete with a fake Hella 1431 stamped into the metal, shouldn't be too hard.

    These (grp ducktail bonded to steel engine lid) have been available in the US for a number of years...
