My New Car - Pics, Pics, Pics.

OK Guys, I want to show you my new car, but the picture files are too large for this site. Cornpanzer told me how to plageurize (sp?) from another Porsche site, but that will be too darn much work. I will just post the link here. Hope you don't mind crossing into the Twilight Zone to view the pics...

We Midwest guys are just happy we were able to keep this car in the Midwest! Here's a few of them:

Any idea who makes that rear bumper? I like the proportion of the bumperettes.

Hey Curt, thanks for "spotting" me the photos. I have to figure out the best way to post pics here.

BAP, yeah aren't those bumperettes great! Wanna know who makes 'em? Can you guess? The factory! It looks like a lightweight bumper system, but it is actually the factory bumper and bumperettes painted over. Kind of a shame they painted the bumperettes, but it is a nice job. I thought about stripping and going chrome again, but I probably won't - it looks great the way it is.

    Very, very nice!

    Can I ask:
where did you get the pull up plastic windows and straps?

Come again - how did they do the bumpers again? Is that the factory ones but painted over? Any closeups?

Yes, they are the factory bumpers and bumperettes that have had the S trim removed and then painted over in the body color. You really cannot tell unless you get close or lift the engine lid - then you would see the attach screws for the bumperette. Verstehen Sie?

Rico, BTW talk about nice cars... Yours is one sweet ride! You know, I am embarrassed to say, but I don't know where the straps and windows came from. The builder did not say and I did not ask. I will try to find out and let you know.
