    Fab 50's/Shelby Event

    Home sick today so I thought I would catch up on some event posts...

    Last Oct. 28th I was invited to attend (along with Lars W. and Will S.) the 'Fabulous Fifties/Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation Fall Festival and Concours D'Provenance'

    The event was held on the parking lot and inside of Shelby's small manufacturing plant in Gardenia CA.

    The Ferrari Luso next to me was Steve McQueen's that he ordered in metallic root beer brown over biscuit tan.
    It's now owned, restored, and showed by the once head of restorations at the Nethercutt Auto Museum ....
