Thread: Carrera RS Lightweight seats?

    Carrera RS Lightweight seats?

I recently saw a pair of lovely seats for sale, they looked like the RS lightweight buckets with the alloy turnbuckle adjusters for back rake, and they were mounted on Recaro sliding frames. Does anyone know if replicas are available and if so, where? I have tried the web site at ClassicCarSeats.com and no joy. Many thanks, Jim Schrager, South Bend, IN

    The seats

Hi Jim, I saw the seats also, in an Excellence Ad for GTS Classics. The seats are not showing on their site, as you know, and I believe they are a brand new item, just now available. Call them, I do believe they are making these repros now. 702-353-7175. Hope it helps!

Also, give Mark Allin a call at Vintage Seats,

    http://www.vintageseats.com/

I'm pretty certain he's added them to the product line. His work is top notch.

I have had a pair of RS LWT seats from Roman at RSL Classic as posted by Tom above.

They were excellent quality & very close to the originals.

Very tasty! But the head restraints just don't look right to me.
They look too wide proportionally, are they honest to the originals?
