Question Help finding my 2.2S engine

This is probably a shot in the dark but if any place can get the correct eyeballs to view this ad, The Early 911S Registry is a great medium to carry the message; Here goes:

I am looking to buy the original engine (according to Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche Cars of North America) that came with my 1970
911S. Of course it is 911/02 code and the engine Serial Number I am looking for is 6300539. If anybody has this engine in their car, and may be interested in selling it, please let me know and we can work out a deal that you will be very happy with. If you absolutely, positively have no interest in selling it, I understand and that's cool, but please let me know anyway if you have it. I am very curious as to the whereabouts of the original engine to my 70S. Thanks in advance.

Sorry about joining you, but I would be most happy if someone knew about engine # 6310035 for my 911 2.2 S, MY 1971, which was delivered in Italy.
Mine has currently engine # 63015xx (I don't remember the exact number and the car is in Italy) from MY 70.

Not to rain on anybodies parade here but of all the 911 I have owned the S's seem least likely to have their factory motors. I think a fair amount were damaged to chain tensioner failure a few more by missed shifts. Back in the "old days" the original case was probaly thrown in the garbage along with new factory sport seats and other items that we all covet now. Anyway I have a 70 S I would love to find motor for as well.
    Cheers,
    Phil

I have a 1970 911S 2.2 case that I probably will not use although it is much later than the number you needed. This one is 6301xxx. Send me an email if it's something you could use. Thanks.

Have 911S sportomatic case - Looking for regular 911S case

I wish I could help, but alas, I'm another thread hijacker. I am looking for the original case for my '72 911S #6321849, or failing that, one numbered #6321XXX. I was told by the P.O. that the original engine was sold to someone in the S.F. bay area some years ago.

I have purchased #6329048, a '72 911S Sportomatic engine, to rebuild and install in the car. Since 911S Sportomatic engines are very rare, I would like to help that case find a more original home, if I can locate a more proper case for my car to replace it.

    Thanks,
    Tim

This almost makes me wonder if we need a place on this forum for "seeking". Just a thought.

I recall the BMW vintage motorcycle group doing something like this. Folks would list serial numbers for engines without frames or visa versa.

I'll try and climb the pallette rack in the next day or so to check the numbers on a couple of S motors that I've got in storage.

    Here's to hoping, fellas ...
