    John,
I agree, your tyre set up looks the part - and you can't beat OEM size and manufacture IMHO.
The XWX's are available here in the UK - about £185ea ($350)
I'm going to be running deep 6's up front and 7's on the rear ('73 offset, not the R wheel)
Eade mentioned he has them on 7" wheels.
Can someone confirm that I can run XWX's 185/70/15 front and rear?

    Thanks guys

    Gilbert:

You are fine upfront. I am not sure that with a 73 off set that you won't hit the fender lips. A bit of negative rear camber could help, but if the over bite is to large it may do nothing.

I am running 195 x 65 pirelli's and it looks perfect (as far as diameter/height) handles great and fills the wheel wells beautifully. I lowered my car with sway away corp adjustable swing plates in the rear, a bump steer kit up front with bilstein's with raised spindles. Wow, it looks mean, sits great and handles much better.

If you are trying to get the rear to grip better (in that you are going to a 7 inch rear rim) you may be better going with a factory deep six in the rear, with the tire size mentioned above, but the key is to drop the rear. Everything will change with that happening. If you do not wish to spend the $$$$ on the bilsteins, then go with the adjustable swing plates and drop the rear anyway. Corner balancing will help, also.

Looks like the 215/60 is the best match for looks to the 185/70, while using a wider tread. More tires:

Wow, more than an inch in width. Will they fit with 6" rims on a 71? Anyone have any pics? Thanks Allan
