WTT RSR Muffler for Vintage Muffler+$100

    Hotrod guys,

Here is a new, 2 hours on it, Dansk Sport RSR-type muffler. I'd like to trade for an excellent- similar condition, no rust, no holes Vintage-type, 2 in 1 out, OEM type muffler with chrome tip-the one with an angle cut on it- plus your $100, OBO. Each of us pays shipping from/to N. California. Please let me know what you've got. Thanks.

    Longer chrome tip

Does anyone know if the longer Chrome tip, with the angle cut, will fit on Bill's muffler? Thanks.

The ID on the angled cut tip is 60mm, ID on the new one is 65mm. ID on pipe is 58 on new, 55 on old. Looks like no fit. Its a shame, cause I was going to fab this new one into exactly what you have...

    Bill,

Looks like, from the bend of the exit pipe, like a later (mid-year '74-'77) muffler you have... internally they are identical to the early ones...

If it is, it's the same that I'm using on my '73...
I had an early beat-up muffler and cut the exit pipe off, I then bolted the 'later type' muffler on the car, took the car to a 'good'ol hot rod muffler shop, had'm cut off the 'new exit pipe' on the car... then had'm weld on the 'old' exit pipe right where it should be and wa-la... a 'new type/old type' muffler ....

    Cheers,
