FS: 1971 Porsche 911 RS Carrera Conversion. Only $17,990 MUST SELL!

1971 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Conversion

    VIN # 9111120904
    92,500 Original Miles
Less than 10,000 miles since mechanical rebuild
Burgundy Red (2424) with White Graphics/Black Interior
    5-speed Manual
    Clean and Clear Title

If you have been looking for a clean RS conversion for the right price, that this is the car for you. So many RS conversions out there are high mileage cars with rust or in need of mechanical attention, it is just plain hard to find a nice driver to enjoy without breaking the bank. This is the perfect affordable R Gruppe car to cruise, bomb the canyons, or take to a track event. Here is a list of the recent work performed (I have all the receipts, records, and books as well):

Rebuilt 901 tranny: shorter gears and short shift kit
    Koni racing shocks
    Weltmeister camber plates
    Turbo tie rods
    Rebuilt engine to 2.5L
    Piston/cyl = 2.7 Euro 8.5:1 compression
E cams built up with hard weld & reground to 66 Solex – Grind # 104/102
    Cam setting 4.2-4.6mm
    PMO 40 carburetors
    Jetting = 130 main, 200 airs, 150 idle air, 60 idle, 32mm vents
Mallory custom built ’71 Porsche distributor
New brakes and rotors (S spec)
New tires (less than 4,000 miles)
    Lowered, corner balanced, and alignment
    Full service
Hard wired V1 radar detector (V1 not included)
    New muffler and heat exchangers
    Electronic MSD ignition and coil
    Nology Wires

This car is truly ready to be driven and enjoyed. Weighing only 2,200 lbs with 180-200hp, it is a quick and nimble car. Less than a year ago, Scott’s independent did a brief inspection and said that this car was very straight and clean with zero rust. Nearly $40,000 has been invested in this car over the past few years.

I can not belive that nobody picked this car up! It was put on ebay and the auction ends in about 14 hours. The quality should have been first rate, having seen these guys cars before. Can somebody fill me in.
