What's are range of market prices for a good straight and correct 1965 911. I no this depends on a lot of factors. I am just trying to establish correct pricing range.
Thanks,
Phil

Found this one for $12,500 asking. Nice example with gas burners. I have no idea on condition, just found it with a Yahoo search. With the price of these early 911's rising upwards to the mid 5 figures, $10K sounds very reasonable. Good luck Allan

How high is the moon? It totally depends on condition, condition, condition, and an original Solex car with everything there will command a premium.
Depends on how much R-U-S-T-- donor car rollers are $3k, and by the time you finish restoring one you would be in it for $40k.
There are a whole bunch of project cars out there that will require $30k in metal, paint, interior and engine work. . . and very, very few unmolested originals. And yet the pundits say, "I would NEVER pay $40k for a 1965 911" but you can't build one RIGHT for that.
So the answer is, it depends on condition.

John,
I sent you a pm regarding a certain 65 911 that you flew to see not too long ago.
thanks,
Eric
Believe it or not, I know of two early cars under restoration, 1964 and a 1965, both will have $100,000 plus in them. Hard to believe, but true.

The more I think about it, I think it's great the owners of these cars can step up and do this. This is true love for the early cars, and only helps the early 911 community. One of the cars is on the East Coast and one is down south.
So, what's an early car worth? Whatever someone is willing to put into it.
