    3.6 Conversion Build Specification

Over the last six months or so, Hayden Burvill and his troops at Wevo have been working to assemble and create what has turned out to be one of the most incredible 911's I have had the chance to drive. The initial inspiration came from Ian Fitz-Simon who provided the donor car and many of the parts. The assembly and spirit of the car, however was done by Hayden's group. Test runs have been to Mexico with Dave Bouzaglou and the Pines to Palms run - about 2500 miles. Reading the new Excellence with its article on Jeff Smith's '3.7' conversion, I was prompted to share Hayden's spec sheet of the car as currently configured. The car is now being color sanded, the color of the repro minilites adjusted, and other details fine tuned. Hopefully the specs will add to the body of information for those considering a 'big block' conversion. Windrush/Wevo is amazing.

If Hayden and Tyson were responsible for putting it together, I wouldn't hesitate to run it in the 25 hours of Thunderhill the day after it left the shop. Wevo is absolutely top of the game.

    Thumbs up

I had the privilege of seeing Steven's awesome 'big block' Hot rod on one of it's pre-rub-out debuts...

It looked super cool ... and sounded unbelievable ....

    Cheers and congrats Steven...

It does look nice and I'm sure it is very well dialed in, but I don't see anything really unusual that was done to build it up. Nothing beyond what others have done before.
