    Any One seen Smiths Hot Rod in Excellence??

    I noticed on one of the posts that Smith Car was in Excellence. Anybody have the technology to scan and post it. I would love to see how excellence discribed that work of art.

    I can not scan it, was in todays mail, great photos and write up. What a car, it was somthing to behold at Treffen, and good memories seeing the article.

    I let mine lapse too...

    B&N didn't have the Octane 911 issue last Saturday, so now I have another reason to brave The Village this weekend... what's that called? Silver lining?

    ...saw the car in Santa Rosa. The car is perfect. There are no flaws at all. Big Money thrown at that car. Big Money.

    I would park it in my living room. Shawn.

    Mine arrived in the mail yesterday. Great article & pics.
    You feel like you are standing right there next to the car w/ Schmidt talking.
    Dave "CornPanzer" you did a fantastic job! The car, well it speaks for itself.

    Brings back memories of the trip last February out to the Aurora Airport w/
    Jeff, Tom & Earl. I was lucky enough to ride along w/ Jeff in this car

    Why don't you ask Dave Conklin (Cornpanzer), he wrote and photographed the car. My mag. arrived yesterday and I was stunned by the photos. I think Dave captured it very, very well. Smith is truely the "Rainman". I looked at the photos and once again marveled at the incredible attention to detail he put into that car, a true master piece.

    Along with the well thought out plan for this car is the fact that Jeff did the work on the car himself. This is no 'checkbook restoration'. As Dave says in the article, he did all of the body and paintwork as well as the fabrication and assembly of the body and interior. Alot of sweat equity in this one.

    Agreed it would look great in the living room.
