67S Help needed estimated value please.

67S that I have had for 10+ years. I'm just getting back up to speed on values after being out of the loop. I have been watching and searching boards to reeducate myself on current pricing parts cars etc and doing ok but need help on this. I just sent for a certificate of authenticity. Car is European I believe because of gauges, serial # is 306866S, the car is solid surface rust only with the exception of half dollar size rust hole @ rear window, I soaked it with a rust killer before storing it. The engine is a 901/02 serial # 960867 and appears to be stock with the exception of the ignition system. The car runs, drives, and leaks oil like a sive. no engine knocks but it runs poorly. Car is a repaint not sure but looks like same color. Interior is all there but ratty. Car came from Arizona and I brought it to New Mexico. Has clear NM title. I have more pictures is needed but don't want to take up space here. Thank you very much.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Here's my estimate (assuming you can't do any of the work yourself):

    Motor rebuild - $10000
    Body repair - $5000
    Repaint - $6000
    Interior - $2000
    Miscellaneous - $2000

Value of car after restoration - $40000
Value of car now so as to not go net negative after restoration - $15000

Unfortunately, these formulations don't hold water. A running 'S' has a price floor, even if it needs work. $15K is below that floor for a car that doesn't have structural rust. FWIW, a nubmer one condition, fully restored '67S is also closer to $50K IMO.
