Curt,
Glad you posted this ... Had the mag out but never got around to it...
Took this about 3 years ago at the Porsche Cars North America Warehouse open house...
Left to right:
Davey Jordan, Allan Johnson, Topper Chassie', and our own Michael Hammond
These 4 guys used to beat-up on each other on the track starting about 45 years ago ...

Cool. I was wondering if this car were still around in one guise or another ....
Nice find Curt. Your post sent me to the basement to look through my Dad's old R&T collection for that issue. Unfortunately most of '68 is missing, maybe because I was born that year? I'll have to give him a call.

Are those 356 Speedster seats or maybe the optional "Ferrari" seats that were offered in 65-66?
Chuck et el,
Dave tells me the car has been heavily modified - including a 917 pedal cluster assembly and of course a custom fuel system a al 935 ish design. Don't know if the math still works, but Moorspeed said the it would take $120k on a backwards restoration to return to Sebring trim. Race ready as it sits now, just not anything resembling Sebring fashion. Cool car!
