    The first 10 VIN's were reserved beginning with 1970 model year. A few we know about were earlier cars that were renumbered; primarily updated race cars. How many of these VIN's that were actually used is unknown, and the purposes for which the cars were used is also not known. Some could have been used for crash testing though.

    nick - i say go for it, that would be a killer car for london traffic

    Happy to report that's pretty much what I'm doing with the car I ended up with: short stroke 2.5, keeping the Sporto box. Also going to keep it narrow bodied, however.
