FS: 1973 911 Sales Brochure

The orange car on the far left is probably one of eight 911S
2.7 prototyp cars, as described/shown in Brian Longs 71/77 Book on page 69.

As the brochures were printed early in 72, there was no 73RS (shown in Paris in late october 72).
Porsche used 2.7 prototype with flared fenders in this brochure, and printed a separated one later for the 73RS (with "positive" Carrera script, on latter cars are "negative" ones used).

Actually the 2,7S prototype show in the '73 bochure is the second of nine prototypes and was sold at auction recently. Here is the SCM article.

The color is Signal Yellow and if you have the Carrera RS book (pg. 58 and 59) these same 4 cars are shown in motion and the caption states:
"The sales brochure published for the 911/2.4 in August 1972 already showed a Carrera RS but without the final version of the spoiler (9113600012)."

The photo in the book shows a different angle and the '72 oil door is clearly visible on the prototype. It also has chrome horn grills, but in the static photo above they were changed to the black ones.
