Isn't this the car that Eric looked at a few months back with the scary torsion tube repair?? Came from Chicago to Washington State??

That number won't pull up the auction. Did you pull it?

No this car has been in CT from at least the early 90s! I had to relist it because E-bay did not like my title as it said "911 not 911s". I was only trying to be clear as people always ask right away if it is a 911S. Per E-bay rules you can not use "non" as it is considered "spam listing". Well, I learned something new. Sorry for any confusion.

    It is now here:

While it was up I got some ludicrous (low) offers ($3K). Some people must have no idea what it cost to do an engine and 901 tranny. This car is just to original to part, eventhough I would probably get more for it in the long run.
I don't want the parts and mess around my house, and have no interest to peddle parts in my spare time. Most of the folks here would have a better feel for what such a car is worth.

If it doesn't sell I will stick a wicked 3L with Webers in it, weld in new floors, repaint it, and do a 911R exterior look, which was my original plan anyway.
I just want to enjoy other things at this time rather than caring for all my cars.

That white 911S looks good. Maybe I should list my 67 911s as well, later. I am sure it would stir things up as it is bloody nice. See how many hits the white car had on E-Bay? Must be an interest in these puppies.
