The front pan and rockers do look a little bodgy....

The car is for sale on the Registry "for sale" pages, looking for $37,500. He admits "floorpan may have had a small patch but they are quite solid"

    '67 911S repairs

    hey guys,
do these repairs indicate accident damage or rust damage? for the uninitiated, what is "wrong" with the repairs? can the bad repairs be "fixed"?
    many thanks,
    alan in l.a.
ps . . . has anyone on the board actually seen this car in person?

    Repairs

Now, what concerns is the front pan, doors rockers and floor, The white paint under the carpet and wrong carpet makes me suspicious. Looks like the interior is complete for a 67

The cost to redo the doors and floors can be big $$$ plus a full paint $$
How are the torsion bars and suspension supports?

    Someone do a Prepurchase

What part of Washington state did it originate in ?

The nice white under the carpet has me scratching my head also. On my 67 there is a 'jute'? material that is adhered so well it would take some HEAVY duty scraping to get to the pan. It sure won't just lift out.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.

    Mark,
That's more than likely crusty horsehair mixed with tar!
It took me almost two days to scrape that junk from the floors on my previous car.

    This is the tough call

If the car has poor floor work and the floors and door bottoms need
done correctly with paint/ new carpet Add $20K USD plus all the other
things you would do. I dont know why it scares me so. Not trying to flame the seller, just worrisome.
