1968 Porsche 911S European Targa

1968 Porsche 911 S Targa. This is a European 911 S Targa and there were only 442 S Targa`s built that year. Since Porsche only imported the 911L to America, and no S this is the rarest of the 911S. We have checked the car over and only found small amounts of body filler by the drivers latch panel down near the deco molding. After using a magnet over the car we did not find any evidence of further body fillers and do not see that the car has been in any accidents. No rust was found in the doors or body panels. We found some rust right front A arm support. We also found some rust on the drivers side curve of the body pan and the drivers side rear sway bar support area. (please see enclosed photos of detailed areas). The passenger side vent window has been replaced with plastic. The car has a Jensen CD player. Engine was removed this last summer and complete top end was performed by Redline Service consisting of valves, valve guides, set of J&E pistons installed with reconditioned cylinders, oil return tubes, cam oil lines. Chain tensioners with safety`s were installed. New stainless steel heat exchangers, fuel pump, MSD ignition. Carburetors were completely disassembled and rebuilt. Axles were rebuilt with new boots, grease and clamps. New plug wires, motor mounts. Turbo lower valve covers. Engine tin is chrome. Has K&N air filters. The clutch, brake and gas pedals had bronze bushings. New brake master cylinder and brake pads. Engine number 4080277. Internal designation number 901/02. Over $10,000 has been spent on this vehicle in the last year.
