    169/139 (yes, lights)

    Hi

Can somebody post a picture of the 128 SWB/356 lights? I can’t find any pictures in earlier treads. It dos not matter if it’s the early V-lens or the later type. Are the ones in the pic correct(not early V-lens)?

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Are these the correct 169(139) lights? They are missing the back housing. I know that the back housing should have rear mounting.

Anybody have a spare set of back housing, if the lenses and surrounds in the pics are correct.

I need a set for my new 1971T.

    John,

Why don't you do a search on eBay "Hella 128". Often there is a set being offered and if not check the completed auctions.

The lights in the right side picture are not for the front of a Porsche, or for any car for that matter. They are rear fog lights and at their best, provide dim lighting.

Hella 128 lights are available from many sources, or you could hold out and try to find a good vintage set and do some minor repairs to make them road worthy and attractive. NLA Limited sells them for 356 cars. Go into the vendor icon for this registry as well as the 356 Registry and you will find them.

    Good luck.

    169

Is the right light type for John's car. The 128s were for earlier SWB cars.
Jerry, on this list, had a mint one for sale the other day. iThere are nice photos of the 169 light (yes, similar to 128 but also different) in the link

    fog lights

Hi Denson-- the little lights are reverse lights for 1967 VW bugs ; There are replicas made by Hella of the 128 fog light like on the 67S available from Performance Products in Southern California. Pictures in their catalouge with either yellow or clear lenes availible. Regards Chris Early S reg.205

    Hi raspy2:

Thanks for that info. I knew they were rear lights, bit was not sure of the car they were on.
