Pic request: silver 911 with red side stripes

    hi all

before i go and order black PORSCHE side stripes for my new silver 911E vintage racer, i thought should check what other colours might work.

does anyone have any pics of silver cars with stripes other than black? e.g. red?

(i like orange too would i think it would be too much and a bit light against the silver)

ps. here's the car in question for inspiration

Ryan - I was (still am) considering dark red/burgundy decals on my 911R-inspired car.

Here's a photo that Bob Tilton photoshopped for me (using his car as the basis):

    what about...

an Irish green, or a Burgundy? That would be subtle, effective, understated, and most of all, classy...

If you use red...go with a darker hue, vs a lighter one - Red is an extremely volatile color in the spectrum; "it won't take much"; I'd avoid orange altogether...

Of course this is one man's opinion...

    Good Luck

    Ryan,
whatever colour you choose, make sure you get something else in/on the car to match, like the belts, wheels, decals, just one thing to highlight it. Burgundy looks good to me.

Hey since you are ripping the interior out, go burgundy interior!?!?!
