I'm in... and I believe Chris T. and Lars W. as well ....

Went to the Alfa event yesterday and it was COLD... and clear

The guys that were there over night said it got down to 15' ...

    Cheers Sandy... see'ya there

BTW - My buddy Hector, who maintains and sometimes drives Jerry Rosenstock's race car collection, won the all Alfa cup race in a 43 year old Alfa TZ1 .....

    ... and so it goes....

Just found out I have to be in New Mexico for my show on the 28th. Will miss the event.

I'll be thinking of you doing fast laps while I sit in some endless script meeting.

The first POC 'STS' event of the year at the 'Streets of Willow' yesterday was GREAT !!!!!!

After agonizing over the wet weather race tire dilemma ... I decided to change out to my track tire set-up a let the pieces fall where they may......

After a pretty wet start for home things started clearing up on the 75 mile way up...

Chris Tallon and Lars had signed on for both Sat. and Sun. to finish up their 'Short Track' licensing requirements so they both had a much wetter time the day before.....

The first session was on a pretty damp track, but after about 200 cars cycled through the following sessions were, for the most part, clean and fast....

It only got to the high 50's with lots of cool moist air and the engines loved it .....
It was, however, hard to keep heat in the tires...

This great guy, Jim Planet, who 'owns' my class showed up so I was only able to get a second in class... but almost a half second better then my best.

Both Lars and Chris won their classes buy a bunch... how cool is that!!!!!

    It was a GREAT day......
